10% - 15% of total contract. Service includes: Site visits, liaison with tenant co-ordinators - submitting drawings and following up on approval processes; briefing contractors, quality control, obtaining quotes, site inspections and reporting, obtaining contractor CoC’s and issuing to Tenant Co-Ordinators, installation schedule, co-ordinating services: HVAC, Fire, Health & Safety requirements. The fee includes co-ordination of municipal site inspections and assists in obtaining the occupancy certificates.
A pack consisting of the 3D drawings, basic 2D drawings, before, during and after photos once the project has been completed.
A. Drawing Fee: colour coding and SANAS notes to comply with SACAP regulations
B. Administrative Fee: Collects all lease agreements, Erf numbers, site plans, zoning
certificates, letters from landlord, letters from tenant, title deeds etc.
C. Municipal Fees: all different depending on store location / size, zoning: consisting of
Building Control department and separate Fire department.
D. Architects Fees: professional sign off of our design.
E. Runners / Service Fees: person who visits and submits to local municipality (Fire, Building
Control and OH&S departments), discusses any possible errors, regulations and other
statutory paperwork, follows up with departments and approval time-lines - status, then
returns to collect approved drawings (fire and building department).
F. Printing fees (4 x full colour A2 sets consisting of approximately 5 to 8 pages per set on
Durester paper). 7) The fee excludes obtaining the occupancy certificate.
